Ceremonies

When starting the wedding planning journey all the different types of Wedding Ceremonies can be very confusing. To make it a little easier for you we have listed these ceremony types below and a brief description.

Civil Ceremonies

Civil Ceremonies

Civil Wedding Ceremonies are legally recognised ceremonies conducted by the Mayor/Deputy Mayor from the Municipal Town Hall of the local area on Crete. Legal paperwork is required, details of which you will find here. Each of the different Municipalities has it’s own rules and regulations regarding days, times and costs of these ceremonies.

Symbolic Ceremonies

Symbolic Ceremonies are not legal ceremonies but they can be conducted in a similar fashion to a Civil Ceremony. Often couples have a Symbolic Ceremony abroad after they have had a legal ceremony in their home country.

Paperwork only

Our paperwork Only Service Is For Couples Who Have Booked A Ceremony Venue That Does Not Deal With The Legal Paperwork. Some hotels will only offer Symbolic Ceremonies and couples have to organise their legal ceremony separately, this is where we come in. Renewal of Vows

A Renewal of Vows offers couples who are already married an opportunity to reaffirm the love they have for each other, in a special ceremony with a blessing. Maybe you have a holiday booked to celebrate a special wedding anniversary. Just contact us for details on how we can help you incorporate a Renewal of Vows ceremony or Blessing into your holiday.
